Since 1981 Frantisek Furch  has been handcrafting fine acoustic guitars and mandolins under his family name and has since established himself as one of the leading builders in Europe today.

In 2005, his instruments were introduced to North America and the Western world, as Stonebridge. This fitting name is inspired by the original name for the world famous Charlesbridge in Prague, and embodies the rich cultural history from where his beautiful workmanship arises.
