Born and raised in Waterloo, ON, Shane Guse has made a career out of doing what he loves to do. A multi-instrumentalist, step dancer and singer, Shane joined George Canyon’s band in 2007 as fiddle and mandolin player. Chances are you’ve seen this multi-award winning fiddle player on television while watching CMT, CTV, CBC or the Canadian Country Music Awards. In 2009, Shane garnered a nomination for CCMA Fiddle Player of the Year and has performed with artists like Jason Blaine, Jason McCoy, Deric Ruttan, Colin James, Tara Oram and countless others. Shane plays D’Addario Strings, L.R. Baggs, a Barry Dudley 5 String Fiddle and a Stonebridge Mandolin.
